Terms of Use
1. Who we are
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Yours2u Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 06376426), whose registered office is at The House of Wealth, Earlsdon Park, 53-55 Butts Road, Coventry, CV1 3BH, UK. Our VAT registration number is GB 913 5712 37.
We operate under several trading names, including Precision Leads Media, AdAI, The Owner’s Edge and whattherecordsays.com. Whichever brand you have arrived through, the contracting party is Yours2u Limited.
These Terms apply to our websites and to any newsletter, content, resource or free tool we make available through them. They do not govern paid services, publisher participation or partner commission arrangements, each of which is covered by its own agreement:
- Master Publisher Terms for publishers and traffic partners supplying leads or traffic
- Master Affiliate and Introducer Terms for partners who refer customers to us or introduce us to commercial partners
- A separate written agreement for client services
Where a separate agreement applies to your relationship with us, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
2. Acceptance
By accessing our websites or subscribing to any of our newsletters, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use our websites.
3. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the “last updated” date shows when it changed. Material changes affecting subscribers will be notified by email or by a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
4. Permitted use
You may use our websites and content for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may share and quote our content with attribution and a link to the original.
You may not:
- copy, republish or redistribute our content at scale, or present it as your own
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data
- use our content to train a machine learning model without our written permission
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
- introduce malicious code, or interfere with the operation or availability of our sites
- use our sites for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of our sites or content
5. Intellectual property
All content on our websites, including text, graphics, logos, layouts, data compilations, software and the selection and arrangement of content, is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Our trading names, logos and brand assets are our property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use them, except that publishers and partners may use approved creative in accordance with their own agreement with us.
Where you submit content to us, including comments, survey responses or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and publish that content in connection with our business. You confirm you have the right to grant that licence.
6. Newsletters and email
Our newsletters are sent on the basis of the consent or legitimate interest recorded when you subscribed. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly and permanently for that list.
We may reference or promote third-party products and services in our newsletters. Where we do so on a commercial basis, that relationship is disclosed as set out in section 7.
7. Affiliate and commercial relationships
We earn commission from some of the links and recommendations we publish. Where an article, newsletter issue, social post or page contains links from which we may earn commission, we disclose this clearly and prominently, positioned so you see it before you click.
Commission does not change our editorial position. We recommend products we consider useful to our audience, and a commercial relationship does not buy a recommendation. Where a piece is paid placement rather than an editorial recommendation, we label it as such.
Some of our content is produced by, or in partnership with, third parties who may themselves earn commission. Those arrangements are disclosed in the relevant content.
If you believe any of our content is inadequately disclosed, please tell us at support@precisionleadsmedia.com and we will correct it.
8. Third-party links and services
Our websites link to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their products, their privacy practices or your dealings with them. Following a link is at your own risk, and any transaction you enter into with a third party is between you and them.
9. No professional advice
Our content is general information and commentary. It is not legal, financial, tax, regulatory or other professional advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. Where a topic matters to your business, take advice from a qualified professional before acting.
We make no representation that our content is accurate, current or complete. Markets, technology, regulation and third-party products all change, and content that was correct when published may not remain so.
10. Availability
We aim to keep our websites available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of our sites for business or operational reasons, and we will give notice where reasonably practicable.
11. Your data
How we collect and use personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
In summary: we use first-party analytics and tracking on our own properties to understand how our content performs, including recording clicks on links we publish. Where you submit an email address to us, we may associate it with earlier activity for attribution and analytics purposes. We do not sell personal data. Where we share data with partners, that sharing is set out in the Privacy Policy and is governed by a written agreement.
You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, erasure and objection. To exercise them, contact support@precisionleadsmedia.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that:
We provide our websites and free content on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however arising.
Our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with your use of our websites and free content is limited to £500.
Where you have a separate agreement with us, that agreement’s liability provisions apply to matters within its scope.
If you are using our sites as a consumer, these limits do not affect your statutory rights.
13. Indemnity
If you use our sites in breach of these Terms, you will indemnify us against any claim, loss, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) we incur as a result.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our sites and newsletters at any time if you breach these Terms, or where we reasonably believe suspension is necessary to protect our business, our other users or our systems.
15. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding your use of our websites.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business. You may not assign your rights under them.
Third-party rights. Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
